About Me
30 years of tricks want out of my mind and into yours.

I still hang up the red and green acrylic potholder my 5 yr. old son made, every Christmas! He is now 27 yrs. old. Gave up full time knitting for other pursuits, though. Happy 4th. Looking good!
They also say, "Another one bites the dust!" but I'm sure they aren't talking about knitting, are they? :)
Wonderful! My favorite color, too. I taught my DD to knit, with some success, and taught my mother, with somewhat less success (those unintentional YO's and short-rows get her every time).
There's something so beautiful about a first piece of knitting.
I just found your blog the other day (from a link in a comment on Grumperina's blog), and started reading through your posts in order. You do an incredible job of explaining and are so inventive. When I got to this post, though, I broke out in goosebumps. I knew immediately what it was, and it's as beautiful as your fabulous technical illustration. You must be very proud!
Dear Mishka: You are in the right of it. I am very proud. I think this is the nicest piece of knitting to come out of chez TECH in a very long time.
